- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My visit at OrthoCarolina was great! The staff are friendly and want to make sure that you are taken care of. Dr. Fiore checked me out and he gave me an honest opinion on what to do with the issues I have been having. I respect him greatly because he wasn't just trying to get money off of me by doing extra things that I didn't need. He recommended some services and let me decide on what to do from there. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had a very positive experience at OrthoCarolina Shelby on Monday, October 2, 2017, from the moment I walked in the door. The staff were courteous and efficient as they updated my chart and obtained info about my recent injury. My wait time was very brief. The nurse took me to the exam room, pulled up my X-rays, and helped me out of my jacket. Dr Friedman listened attentively as we discussed my fall and my injury. He showed me my x-rays and explained the diagnosis, answering all my questions and reassuring me that I could expect a full recovery but it would take time to heal completely. He gave me detailed instructions about what to do at home to assure my best outcome. He was very knowledgeable about my type of injury, thorough in his examination of my injured arm, precise in his instructions, while at the same time he conveyed that he genuinely cared about me as a person by engaging in friendly conversation, calming my fears and concerns, and encouraging my full participation in the treatment process.
