Customer Reviews about Carolinas HealthCare System Cleveland
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Gallbladder surgery at Shelby hospital. Staff, nurses, and the surgeon were all so very kind and professional. There was a nurse with me during the entire post-op recovery. Rooms were spacious, even the pre-op out-patient room was larger than I've seen anywhere else. I will never go back to Gaston Memorial for anything!July 23, 2017by Becky Weaver
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Came in with severe abdominal pain and nausae. I asked for the restroom because I was going to vomit one of the two admitting nurses made it seem like I had slapped her mother: "its on the other side of hallway". She grabs a wheelchair and instead of putting the foot-rests down she tells me to lift my feet so shs can wheels me. So, here I am holding my feet above the floor, exaserbating the pain. I'm now at the admitting desk. I'm in pain and the other nurse is barking at me for my name. I'm trying to talk and grab my ID so it's easier for her. Obviously this was too much for her to handle she got mad and quipped "what. Is. Your. Last. Name." I told her and handed her my ID card. Then I was wheeled to my room. I asked again where the restroom was and she just points down the hall. Other nurse comes in for IV, blows the vein on first attempt and tried again. The IV is sitting on the bend of the interior elvow and making it impossible to bend. Sharp pain at injection site and blood in tube. She leaves. Doctor comes in, pretty cool. Asked the questions and said he needs urine sample. I've been waiting for two hours for them to come back. I pressed the call button because IV fluids is out, it's been twenty minutes. What the hell is wrong with this hospital? Update. It's been two and a half hours to find out that they are not doing a CT scan and he's pretty sure it's a kidney stone and sending me home with meds. I mean, doctor was cool and one of the nurses was cool, that's why it's two star and not zero.June 17, 2017by Lance Everley
